I said it wouldn't be true..but it is. We've taken less pictures of John than we did of Eleanor. So here's a picture...it's more than a week old though.
We were all laying on John's blanket...playing.
Eleanor always wants to go with Kevin to play basketball. Maybe putting on his sweating socks and shoes when he gets home is just as good?!?!
Happy Father's Day! You're a great Daddy!!!
It's rainy season and Eleanor has learned the word umbrella (although I don't know how to type it the way she says it). She often asks for her umbrella when it's raining...even when she's inside. We're doing great. The adjustment from one child to two has been easier than from none to one. Eleanor is a wonderful big sister and loves John very much. Kevin goes back to work next week full-time so we'll see when I update again!!
| Sorry for the delayed update. John Clarence Foster was born on May 28, 2008 at 8:43am. He weighed 8lbs. 15.5 oz and was 21.5 inches long. (At his last dr. appt though he was 9lbs 6oz and 22.25 inches...he won't be "little" for long!) Eleanor loves being a big sister and is pretty good at it as well. She is very helpful and loves to be near John. John seems to have Eleanor temperment...laid back, easy going, and doesn't cry much. He eats and sleeps well so overall the transition has been pretty well. We would appreciate you continued prayers though as we adjust and learn how to be a family of four. Here are some pictures.
He has really big hands and feet....how tall will he be???
Eleanor likes to play "this little piggy" with John's little toes.
We love him!!! and are so happy he decided to come out!!

Here's our pretty little girl with her mommy on Mother's Day!
We all are ready to see this little one too!
Despite the day, she still loves her daddy!
She also got a new frog and wanted a picture taken with that as well.
She's so stinkin' cute!
| Eleanor seems to be more and more ready to meet this "baby." She enjoys giving frequent hugs and kisses to mommy's tummy and will occasionally say "baby's moving." This little one with by either John and Madelyn and Eleanor has been praying every night for "John Madelyn."
Less than two months to go and then we'll get to meet this little one!
And this little one isn't so little anymore...she's growing up so fast!
| So our afternoon showers have been coming more and more often which gives opportunity for playing in the rain. When I asked Eleanor if she wanted to play outside, she was a little hesitant and then said "outside, outside." Luckily our neighbors were also outside playing so she had several friends to encourage her.
She did get a little scared when she was in water and unable to see her feet. After playing for awhile, we brought the kids under the carport and wrapped them in warm towels. I'm sure she'll play in the rain many more times before the rainy season is over.
